When I was a kid I have Charlie Brown encyclopedia's and they stated that a person yawned b/c of a deficit of oxygen.so if this is truly the case, next one could assume that there isn't adequate (oxygen) at that particular time to budge around.I cant explain it but when someone yawns some one else in the room will become hugely tired and yawn, bizarre and strange sorry cant explain it but do some research on it.
