If I be you I would not get a hose down bed.I had one and it leak while I was out, when I get home the whole house be flooded lucky enougth I had home insurance and they rewarded the bill of the damage.

I had one years ago and loved it. Like someone else said, it took some time to return with used to but once I got used to how to find in and out of bed, it be great. Just watch what you put on your bed - don't throw down a pouch or other items like you would on a conventional bed. It takes significant pressure to puncture the mattress and even if you do, in that are patches that work ably. If you don't live on the ground floor of your building you may need to check next to your landlord. I have to get rid of mine when I moved into a building that have a "no waterbeds" clause in the agreement because the insurance to cover their mass and potential water wreckage was too much.
