Why did my eye get a blood-like dupe about an hour ago? did a artery pop or something?

If the blood-like blotch is evenly deep red (can be small or large) and not approaching a bunch of thin red lines condensing close together. And you hold no pain, no eye irrigation by reading light and no change contained by your vision, later it is indeed a popped vein.
