when you go for a checkup at the doctors,.if it's be a while sometimes they request blood work..they write this wierd crap i don't get .resembling T1.lipids.stuff like that.anyone know what doctors look for?

Depends on how old you are - and as a consequence what the national recommendations are for disease screening in your age group.Some important tests that are frequently ordered:
CBC - complete blood count - this looks at your white blood cell, red blood cells, and hemoglobin - it will communicate the doctor if you have an infection or are anemic, etc.
Chem 7 - this tell the doctor about your electrolytes, resembling sodium, potassium, calcium, etc. It also tells her more or less how well your kidneys are functioning, and you sugar level.

It really depends on the patient and what you are near for. There are hundreds of tests and with the sole purpose those ordered are performed. Lipid profile is a exam of good and fruitless cholesterol to see if you are at risk for heart disease. T1 is part of thyroid profile to see if your thyroid is working properly. It is not viable to diagnose someone based on laboratory test alone, but also involves putting signs and symptoms with those results as very well. Tests for HIV (at least contained by the US) are not done without the forgiving being counseled and getting their consent. Drug screen are not done unless there is a medical judgment - such as unconscious lenient in the ER. Your doctor may demand chemical tests to see if your liver is OK especially if you are on prescription medication or Tylenol that can be tricky on the liver and a blood sugar may be ordered as part of a CMP or BMP (comprehensive metabolic profile or underlying metabolic profile) to make sure you are not diabetic. Your potassium rank is also part of these test. You may also be tested for anemia as part of a CBC (complete blood count). You may ask your doctor roughly the tests as very well.
