You need to rest it, elevate it, and put ICE on it.if u merely twisted ur ankle u need to elevate it and put rime on it- if it's swelling and bruising then u might of fractured it- if so ur gonna enjoy to either dance the er or the doctor tomorrow! i know it hurts i've done it to both of my ankles and the elevation and ice really does give support to i think warmth makes it swell worse!

Try putting the rime on for five minutes, leave it stale for five, then put it fund on for five. Do this three times a day first. Don't wear heals until your ankle is completely better.
