Hi guys im doing DIY and my mum accidnetly dropped a hammer on my ankle, we go to a and e last dark but it was so busy we have to go home, the nurse told us to come rear tommrow, basically i can apply pressure to my foot but its swollen and i own a dent in the side of my ankle where on earth the hammer hit thats the place where on earth it hurts the most any ideas what it could be?

Get an x-ray.Otherwise apply an rime pack yo it a couple of times a day and see if the swelling and niggle goes down.It could be only just the swelling that is the problem at the moment and this will obligation to go dow n in the past you get an x-ray anyway.
