What is a valid "Medic Alert" tatoo?
I've been told to carry a medic alert bracelet for diabetes, a stint and a potential transplant.
I don't like wearing jewelery. Would a tatoo suffice? What should be on it? Is some sort of medic alert number advise?

Any known side effects to MRI?
I'm a long time diabetic. I'm also an EMT. I own a medic alert tattoo. I got the tattoo after losing my 4th or 5th bracelet. It's almost 2" by 1.5" and it's on my upper abdomen. It's red surrounded by color. It's the star of life symbol beside the letters IDDM across it. Medic alert tattoos are not adjectives. While I have the tattoo, I still convey medic alert ID cards in my wallet and nearby is another one in my sports car clipped to the visor over the steering wheel. Fortunately, contained by all the years I've have diabetes, I have lone passed out once from low sugar. If you were to attain a tattoo, put it in a place where on earth it would be seen efficiently. You can have one tattooed across your wrist, simply like a bracelet. There are also medic alert tag that can be clipped to your watch nouns.
Regardless of your choice, just engineer sure it can be seen and renowned. More and more EMTs are looking for tattoos these days. I check for them myself but typically within the obvious places. Maybe someday, medic alert tattoos will be more commonplace.
what is upright to eat or drink for stomach tart?
A tattoo is not a recognized form of medic alert devices. As a paramedic, we are trained to look for bracelets or necklaces in patients that are unresponsive. Unless your tattoo is unbelievably large and contained by the middle of your chest, it could easily be overlooked within an emergency. A tattoo is also not nearly as easily altered should your medical condition metamorphose.I can sympathize with your disliking jewelery, but this is a potential life-saving gauge here.
Pain in left side of facade and neck/?
Your medic alert Tattoo should have a red star of time and you should have what you are allergic to or what your condition is OR both. it should be some ware that someone is going to look for it, similar to on the inside of your wrist, or on your arm some ware.I have never see one of these but people right to be heard that they are great if you don't like Waring jewelery. it sounds similar to a good investment because you will never loose it.
you should also clear sure that leave room to want ad more allergies and conditions
Foods/Ingredients that cause/prevent inflammation?
I've never seen one, but I'm pretty sure that the tattoo wishes to have matching symbol that's on the bracelets. So a red cross with a snake rapt around a staff within the middle. You also need to hold your medical condition on it.Emergency personel is trained to look for bracelets and necklaces though. So unless you have the tattoo on your chest or wrist and really evident, it could go unnoticed. Also beside the tattoo, if your medical condition ever changes and you no longer inevitability to worry roughly speaking these, then what would you do? You'd be stuck next to the tattoo.
Even though you don't like wearing jewelery, the bracelets are really glib to get use to.
How much dampen is needed to drink if you take liveliness pills?
well the only item with a tattoo is where on earth to choose to put it. Medical professionals know to look at the wrists, the neck or the ankles for a med stub, so if your tattoo is hidden it will probably be in motion overlooked. If you do get a tat.you probably want the international medical symbol on it that you see on adjectives med tags. You want your heading, your condition, your dr's name, and phone number on it.don't forget..tattoing is not recomended for diabetes because of impair circulation!
