Is my foot fractured ??
Answers:
What cause an ingrown toenail and how do i treat it...thanks.?
I would hang about untill the morning unless the pain is really beyond the pale, it may be fractured or just feebly bruised. Keep it elevated and ice it as much as you can. If it still is really bothering you , jump and see the dr, for an x-ray. And try not walking on it or puting any wait on your foot.I infer I might have Osgood Schlatter within my knee?
ice it presently, take some motrin, be in motion to the emergency room no later than tomorrow morning. (might hold quicker trip into er at night)You may have a fractured toe, by the discription of the incident I would not be surprized if you have a subungual hematoma of the big toe. This is a bruise that is produced lower than the toe, this bruise can cause a pressure build up below the toenail. Treatment is to relief the pressure by making a small hole in toenail, this will be paid your toe feel better, and may amass your toenail from falling off.
I suggest you be in motion to ER and have it looked at.
Is sparkling and carbonation considered the same item?
some swelling is going to be present due to the type of injury.i wouldn't rush to the emergency room unless you are not able to totter on it but i would be seen by a dr inwardly 24 hours to get xrays. call for your dr's office first entry in the am and explain what happened-if they can't attain you in, later go to your nearest urgent trouble or emergency room.
for now a short time ago ice it. 10-15 mins at a time as needed and keep hold of it elevated.
take ibuprofen for backache (if not allergic). ibuprofen has an anti-inflammatory in it to relief reduce the swelling. bear 200-400mg in 24 hours but no more than 1200mg surrounded by 24 hours.
things that DO require a trip to the er right away are
-increased swelling to the area or the swelling spreads to other parts of your foot/leg
-your foot or toes become cold to the touch (indicates restricted bloodflow to the area)
-your foot/toes start to turn blue in color (also indicates restricted bloodflow)
-you are not competent to bear bulk or walk on that foot
product sure to be seen so you can bring those xrays done.
hope you feel better soon!!
i dont think it would be worth a trip to the ER, but you may consider making a doctors appointment the strain hasnt gotten any better in the subsequent couple of days. since you are able to stride on it, i doubt it is broken. i hurt my foot a couple years ago, and was not sufficiently expert to weight undergo for 2 days. my mom made me go to the doctor, and it turns out that i have a hairline fracture. just breed sure you ice, elevate, and pilfer advil/tylenol if necessary.
