When a fracture patient comes to the first aid clinic writhing suffering, is he given a pain shot in a jiffy?
I am trying to understand a medical procedure.
My friend lately broke his lower leg after falling from a train and was instantly taken to a rural small clinic nearby.
When I reach there after nearly 1/2 hour of the incident he was not writing anguished, but I was told that when he be brought there he be shrieking. His outer wounds were minimal and be dressed. But he would shriek if anyone touched his leg.
The nurse gave him a butt shot of affliction killer 15 minutes after I reach there.
I very soon wonder if the nurse had given one shot of twinge killer nearer (as soon as he arrived), because otherwise how come my friend was not writhing anguished. But his pants be still on and the belt was tight when I reach there (which have to be opened to present the shot), so it seems he have not been given that shot quicker.
What is the normal practise surrounded by India for giving first aid to fracture victims?
Do you think he would hold received the shot earlier too? and his belt tightened wager on on?
Answer: Pain medication need to be delayed while persuaded assessments are made. Pain medication will be given as soon as possible but not usually immediately.
How do you achieve krazy glue rotten of your hands?
a analgesic doesnt need to be injected in his butt. Thats simply a convenient place for an injection that should travel into muscle .They could have given him a pill or an injection into an arm or leg.
They must hold done something with his pant in instruct to dress the wounds.
What happens previously, after, and during laser eye surgery?
this seems close to a compicated question for a simple procedure Just ask your friend. It is possible they started an iv and give him a pain med that way
Or are you a druggie trying to amount out how to get torment med before they nick an xray to see if you really broke a bone
My mom was carrying starchy stuff today at work and has hurt her support and hip. WHAT DO WE DO?
Nooooo! They are too busy checking everybody to see whose worse. Also, they don't do it until the Doctor comes' in, and orders' it. He was realize that he was surrounded by the right place, and the leg was going to be care for to make it better, so he calmed down, and not moving helps' the affliction, too. Also, slight shock makes' it not hurt until that wears stale. I worked at an Alzheimer's unit. I be standing next to this woman after picking out her clothes and supervising her to get dressed; making the bed, near my back to her at the bedside, when this sweet little woman twisted around to frontage the window. I hear her hip crack, and then she straight fell down and I heard the thump as she broke it some more from the plummet to the floor. That was 8:30 A.M.- I stayed near her, trying to make her comfortable, beside pillows and ice and hand-holding, while the nurse stayed at the station, merely allowing me to give her two doses of tylenol until the paramedics come 4 hours later! She didn't want to do something contra-indicated, but near was no excuse to agree to her suffer that long, by not calling 911 instead of the front office.. People focus that alzheimers patients don't feel throbbing as others do? She could have gone into shock from this crucial injury and due to the paaaiiiinnnnn! It was so stressful! Old times, hip fracture be a death sentence, because they couldn't fix it, etc. and when those just tale there, they die actual fast contained by the coming week or two.People in India need to be lucky satisfactory to afford a hospital which hopefully is nearby. Broken legs cost upwards of $20,000.00 to treat contained by a hospital setting- and need to be fixed right away to prevent gangrene and blood loss, infection in some cases and disfigurement and loss of use of the upper limb it needs to be set and/or toothless and treat for possible shock too.
