I know its not something you want to hear. But you can live near a torn ACL - the catch is that you can't play sports. This might be the alternative until you can find a path for payment. Ask the hospital if you can take-home pay the bill with a costs plan or something then you can work and slowly reimburse the bill off. Try to find a loan and after pay that subsidise.I hope someone else can provide better answers. Sorry about your knees!!
