I actually tore my meniscus roughly speaking a month and a half ago. My symptoms hold been swelling, predetermined mobility, paint along the joint queue, popping and cracking, and quite a bit of headache especially when walking and climbing stairs. The symptoms of a torn meniscus are:swelling of the knee

you may hear your knees pop or click
meniscus is tender to the touch
pain contained by the knee
You may also find that your knee "locks" sometimes. Also, you may be unable to straighten it completely.
