Can the cold make a TMJ problem deed up?

Where I live it was in the order of 75 degrees a couple of days ago and inside two days it has dropped to going on for 32 degrees and it is snowing. I run yesterday and a little today and presently my jaw is hurting pretty unpromising. I know running alone can cause TMJ torment, but can cold make it worse? If so, any advocate? I like to draw from out and run even if it is cold.
