Really? Take a tylenol and enjoy a nap. Sleep other works because you relax and tension is what cause headaches most of the time. If you can't sleep, later - I know this is silly - but if you hold a water bottle on your forehead and the hose down is sloshing around in it, it distracts you and it calms you down for some intention... ha ha. Or just do something relaxing! Deep breaths.Has anyone experienced physical change due to PTSD?

If you can sleep, sleep. If you can't go somewher peace, dim the lights, close your eyes and rest your head. as far as OTC meds Advil works the best for me, but it adjectives depends on teh person. It depends on where the headache is located if it is contained by the eye area it could be sinuses next a nasal decongestant would work best.If it is located in the stern of the head ibuprofen would assist but could also be a sign of other problems.A very severe headach can be a sign for some other issues and you should see a doctor
