I am working on my MD (half mode done) and I have be seeing a DO for my entire life. SHe is AMAZING. I do hold to say that while the principles of the tuition of MD vs DO are different, I have never see a difference in the route people in actual fact practice. (I currently work with oodles MD's and DO's). SO, don't think twice roughly speaking it!(DO's traditionally focus on treating the body as a whole and using pharmeceuticals as a second preferred option -- but this really depends on the character. I've met many MD's who follow this route and copious DO's who don't. The most important piece is to see someone you are comfortable with and trust).
In a hospital, what is a progressive care element; versus a telemetry unit?
Yes. They are as competent as any doctor. The medical institution is slightly different in some of the didactics, but the majority of both Md's and DO's progress thru the same residency and hence, equal training.I broke my nose. Will the bump progress away, or do I need to grasp surgery?
i have practically lived contained by my DO's office for 3 years for a tremendously bad injury that keep me from even getting out of bed at times...i LOVE LOVE LOVE him to death...DO's are docs that really listen to you and try to numeral out what the best alternative instead of surgery is and i will most likely be in motion to one for the rest of my life..he have helped me alot beside my injury and i would highly suggest seeing one.Didn't shift to the gym for a week and lost 7 lbs.?

Yes; I am currently seeing a DO at a workers'-comp healthcare clinic. He seem indistinguishable from a general-practicioner M.D.
