Would a scrape result in the skin to feel unyielding like a bump several months subsequently?
My 3 yr old daughter fell two months ago and rake over her chin. The scrape eventually formed a scab and appeared to make well. I just notice the other day that her chin have a hard bump beneath the skin where the injury be located. The skin looks like it heal perfectly. Any explanation? Thanks...

There are a couple of possibilities. The first is she may have developed a keloid. This is a safe lump caused by the body's blemish reaction self a little over-exuberant defect reaction. There is also a small possibility that near was a foreign body and the skin have grown over it. If this is the case near will eventually be a tissue reaction which bring it to the surface and expel it. If you enjoy any worries get your GP to issue an eye over it.Scar tissue.

She may hold some grit still stuck in near, or it may be an adhesion from where she have fallen and the muscle tissue underneath have been torn slightly.Check beside a GP next time you're in that.
