Feeling pain within thigh. What exactly is it?


Last week, while at a track meet, I notice a sharp pain within the upper hamstring and upper groin while sprinting. The pain occured surrounded by my groin while extending my leg, and in my hamstring while bringing it back. I be able to put your foot on it fine, but the pain returned as soon as I started to sprint. My lower vertebrae also had a slight agony. 1 week later, the backbone pain is gone, but the groin and hamstring pains are still in that when I take longer strides. I've be researching the injury online but haven't found an injury that has matched my exact symptoms. Do you know what this could be?
