How much sleep is too much?
I have a boyfriend who works security/barback @ a local pub and his shifts usually run no more than 6 hours. I twig that his job can be physically straining but I still don't judge he would have to sleep 9 hours (or more) to regain your strength. Is this healthy?

6 hrs is plenty. tell him he can sleep when he's late.

Actually too much sleep is when your back starts hurting in even a comterble bed. So a moment ago ask him and if it does then he's getting too much sleep but shoot I sleep for roughly speaking 12 hours before anything starts hurting.Does anyone own any experience with knees pain and or remedy?

if he is forcing himself to stay in bed that long then it would not be a right habit but it is not wan. if he is sleeping pretty much straight trough he may need that much. while the work is indubitably not of long duration or the most physically or mentally demanding job it can be stressful and that can effect his sleep pattern.in the long run within terms of condition the quality of sleep will other be more important than the level of sleep

Myself, I can function on 6 hours a darkness but some people require 8-10 hours sleep a hours of darkness. Everyone is different, I would say if he sleeps more than 10 hours there's a problem.you dont stipulation more than 8 hours, the older you seize the less sleep your body desires
