This area is call the "Sub Occipital Regions" (Or SO Region).

Headaches which result from tension here are relieved by two things that work really ably.

1. The Chiropractic Adjustment. If you've noticed; taking affliction pills (Aspirin, Tylenol, etc.) simply cover up the pain. I apply peppermint grease to the back of my d¨Ścolletage. This really seems to cool and losen up my d¨Ścolletage muscles. If it burns too much for you, mix it with for a moment bit of olive oil, this will give somebody a lift some of the "burn" out of the oil, but will still work.

As a headache sufferer myself, I know that if you do not get hold of a "restfull" night of sleep you tend to own the tension contained by your neck and this cause the headaches. I use a sleep "aide" such as Lunesta and I sleep economically thus releasing the tension surrounded by my neck. This is not the answer for everyone, but it works for me.

i get that too. You necessitate to do the chin tuck exercise, it is a neck exercise that releves seriously of tension and is outstandingly recommended by my PT. You have to look surrounded by the mirror for this one because a chin tuck can easily stir wrong. The right way to do a chin tuck is to tuck it in in a path that gives you a double chin and make you look really goofy, but it helps. Hold it for a short spell of time, relax then repeat.

Also stretch your d¨Ścolletage by using your hand to verbs your head towards your disappeared shoulder (while your face is facing foward), hold it for a short time of year of time then repeat on the other side.

Another one that I do that compliments the previous exercise is I verbs my head near my hand contained by a downwards diaginal direction so that my head position is deeply making me stare at my armpit, then I do the other side (also recommended by my PT).

Allways use the converse hand to verbs down your head surrounded by the desired direction.

One that I invented that helps me the most out of adjectives the exercises (and is the hardest to explain) is I do a chin tuck combo while I am pulling my shoulders down by using a pull down motion with arms straight down by my side and have closed fists (this is sort of similar to the shrug exercise that people do when they lift up weights but my arms are slightly raised and surrounded by front of my body) but you are not lifting the weights, instead imagine that you are holding workout weights and that the weights are weigh you down and causing you to verbs down and stretch that top shoulder-neck muscle area.

Go grasp a massage! Do you work on a computer? If you do later you might have a tight sub scapulars. It is a muscle to be exact on the "wings". Hold your arms out at shoulder height and look within a mirror. The little triangle that looks like it connects the pay for of your arm to your arm pit is the subscap. If it is tight then it is pulling the upper trap down which is pulling the muscle in the hindmost of your neck. Tell your analyst to check it if you get a rub.
