Should I see a doctor for my numb thumb cause by a puncture wound?
ARGHH...I accidentally stabbed myself between my thumb and pointer finger (base of my thumb) on my left mitt. Now my thumb is numb and tingly on the inner side. My thumb nail is also numb. Is this everlasting nerve deface... and do I have to see the doctor for this? FYI: I enjoy no medical insurance, so I'm delaying any expenditures. Please oblige!

as long as the puncture does not go and get infected you have no explanation to see the doctor. You more than likely knicked the cheek (I have done it several times to my right thumb) and it can filch anywhere from a few days to a few years to grow back depending on how fruitless you injured the nerve. The first time I did this I cut from my wrist up to the knuckle of my thumb. It took 10 yrs to grow spinal column and that was next to a doctor looking at it and sewing it back up. The end time I did it it was an rime pick through the web between the thumb and index finger and it took give or take a few 3 months to get adjectives feeling fund. As long as you can bend and extend you thumb there is nil a doctor can do but give you a tetnus shot.how to acquire sound sleep at dark (naturally)?
Try alternating cold and heat essentially thing. If you still enjoy the puncture, apply antibiotic ointment. What is the best agency to get rid of a headache?
you may aswell stir to the doctor.at least later you can be re-assured of the state of your thumbgood luck, Jimbob
As long as the wound is uplifting properly, I wouldn't worry around the numbness. It could be caused by swelling.
I hope you have have a recent tetanus shot.
