I have only just sprained my ankle and torn several of the ligaments in my foot quite severely. When I go to A and E they bandaged my ankle up with crepe style cold compress but underneath they put some form of padding to protect my ankle, it is sort of resembling cotton wool in a roll but slightly rougher. Any design what this is? I know it is available on prescription but have be to 2 pharmacies and both of them looked at me as if I was stupid. Help???!!

I enjoy to keep it strapped up for as long as I can, because of the severity of the injury and to protect the public - the bruising that have developed is not pleasant!
