Long sleep vs. Short sleep.?

Which is better for your body...to sleep until you naturally get up up, or to only sleep for a set amount of time respectively night? If I agree to my body sleep, I can go for 10-12 hours, next I feel groggy and carry tired quickly afterwards. But if I set my alarm to permit me sleep for 8-9 hours, I feel approaching I've woken up too soon and I'm tired, too. I can't get into a regular sleeping template where i sleep and rouse up at the same time because I work shift work, so sometimes i'm working until 2am...i dont want to own to sleep 2-10 every day.
Is my best odds to just put up beside this weird sleeping cut-out until I go fund to school, and i own more routine? If so, I was in recent times wondering which one is doing less mar to my body and brain. i dont know what to dooooo, helllllp please :)

Has anyone here dealt beside Chronic Fatigue Syndrome?

Like you, for many years (back contained by the 70's) I did shift work, all hours. My sleeping pattern were also unusual. I never did really resolve it, because for the last 10 years I go to 24hr shifts in a greatly busy urban Fire Dept. It was not exceptional to literally get 0 hours of continuous sleep,,ie 10 minutes here and within. Obviously, such sleep patterns are imprudent...all the experts agree. But the working world demands it. I own no answer for you save to read aloud that most people hold no idea of what their bodies are really effective of in expressions of sleep deprivation. Personally, I think most individuals get too much sleep.

My Migraines! Help me please someone?

sleeping more is better for you but if you be aware of better with little sleep than stir for it

Pain on left side of body lower than my stomach. Any ideas?

Everything I enjoy read says we have need of between 7 and 9 hours of sleep each hours of darkness, and that it should be a continuous sleep because the body goes through stages of sleep. In our world of work hours, a 'night' depends on the hours one works.
I own worked all three shifts at one time or another and have to sleep the hours that worked best for me.
