Having cancerous moles myself I have found that standard practitioners are not very honest at spotting cancerous moles. I have be to many doctors and they adjectives would rather dispatch me to a dermatologist for evaluation then do it themselves. Spotting cancerous moles take a practiced eye and general practitioners don't come across to get much practice at it. A biopsy is the just way to be sure you hold cancer and any doctor can do that but figuring out what to biopsy is better done by a dermatologist. I have melanoma for at least two years and my nonspecific practitioner never spotted it during routine physicals. I had to point it out to him formerly he took notice and agreed next to me that it did looked suspicious. He sent me to a dermatologist where a biopsy be perform . I found it myself by checking cancer pictures on the network against my own moles. My advice is if you own moles learn for yourself the difference between majority and abnormal moles. It may put aside your life some sunshine. At the hospital where I worked a surgery nurse get a mole on the back of her collar. It was unusual. One of her co-worker suggested she enjoy it checked out. She agreed but said she was so busy near work and the kids she didn't have the time. Two months latter she saw a doctor. Yes all doctors are trained to spot cancerthey can furnish an educated guess the doctor will mostly refer you to a dermatologist and if he/she is suspicous they will writ a biopsy
