The pupils would be dialated. It depends on the severity of the injury. The pupils may or may not be reactive to light. They may or may not be equal. They may or may not take action the same when bedside light is shown into them.The creepiest is the doll's eye reflex. When you see that, there is usually brain stem injury.
with a serious head injury one or both pupils may be dilated. contricted pupils are a sign of opiate use.
Usually but not always the pupils appear unequal (one dilated) and the other regular sized like 2mm next to sluggish reaction to restrained on the normal sized one and no sensitivity on the dilated or "blown" pupil. Alot of it would depend on how severe the person in charge injury was.Sometimes you can hold one pupil that reacts to flimsy whereas the other one may not.
You can have pupils that are slow to counter to light.
You can hold pupils that don't react to neutral at all (fixed).
Rarely is it ever that a merciful with a leader injury would have constricted pupils.
