There is a school that only opened effective my area that take 22 months to become an MRI Technologist. The only drawback is that I will not gain a certificate within Radiologic technology. Therefore I will not be able to impart x-rays.

Should I consider this program? I've applied to a few Radiologic Technicians schools already, but the keep on list is ridiculously long.

why do medical professionals use military time?

I am an MRI tech in the state of MN. Law here is you can't become an MRI Tech without have your RT (R) certification. As it stands at hand is currently no schools that purely teach MRI, not In MN and I don't believe anywhere else. Its more of a crossing training item. Usually Imaging centers and Hospitals will not touch you if you aren't registered in Radiography.

You need to shift to Rad tech School.
