Why do my arms drop asleep while I'm in bed?

You would best hold this treated by a pain specialist. Family doctors and others hold good intentions, but do not other keep resting on the newest treatments available.

Has anyone have surgery for a ruptured disc?

I also have RSD/CRPS, and some of the treatment option that I have done are blocks, physical psychiatric therapy, medications, and a Spinal Cord Stimulator (SCS) which have been the most influential for me. I had my SCS implanted, and it worked powerfully, but because of my scarring condition it took a few other revisment surgeries to get it to work, but immediately that I have it working I enjoy about 75-80% torment relief, and it have been the best for me. You can look more into SCS's at www.ans-medical.com I would suggest discussion to a neurologist, or pain headship doctor to see what they suggest. Good luck!

does anyone know if it means a serious problem when a child repeats everything shesays in a shush?

There are many treatment option for RSD/CRPS, and the sooner you start treatment, the better. I suggest that you contact the RSDSA (http://www.rsds.org). They have a document of doctors that may be able to comfort.

The first thing that most doctors near experience in treating RSD will do is a sympathetic resolve block. You did not mention if yours is in an upper or a lower upper limb. For an upper limb, the block is a stellate ganglion block. For a lower appendage, it's a lumbar sympathetic block. They're injections of local anesthetics, which usually help or destroy the pain and will breed the limb space heater and return to normal color. If the blocks work, a series of them is usually recommended, over the course of a few weeks.

During all of this, physical psychiatric therapy is a necessity. It's usually not very much fun, but it's influential to prevent atrophy. In some cases, usually in immature people, intensive physical psychiatric therapy itself can put RSD into remission.

If the blocks and physical therapy aren't plenty, there are other treatment option. I had great nouns with TECs, or tunneled epidural catheters that give me a continuous nerve block over something like two month's time. Many patients get spinal cord stimulators similar to my friend who posted above, who has have great success next to hers. I had one for a time near only partial nouns, but it was a oblige.

You can certainly ask for narcotic meds, but I can't guarantee that they'll sustain. Neuropathic pain, similar to RSD/CRPS, tends to be pretty resistant to traditional spasm medications. I never have any luck with opiate or opioid medication, but some people are help to some degree or another by them.

There are lots of other medication to try. Neurontin is pretty standard in terms of medication to start with. Hopefully you will be capable of find a doctor who will try some different things.

Good luck, and I hope that you find some treatments that work!
