Most probably, you trapped your foot under your body weigh while sleeping, restricting the flow of blood to it. So when you woke up and freed your paw the blood rushed in, giving you the sentiment of pins and needles.Nothing to really worry more or less, unless you have a numbness awareness afterwords for long periods of time. Then you should check beside your doctor.
