How do you prevent a burn from scarring?
My sister got a burn from the straightner on her facade by her sideburns, but what can she do to make the burn not deformity?
Answer: have your sister turn to your local drug store and pick up some neosporen (probably mispelled)...than check right beside the band-aids for something called 2nd skin moist burn pad.and get those.. it covers close to a bandaid but it has a gel close to substance that keeps the burn from drying out..When my son be younger he managed to folded his arm up on a hot curling iron and it adjectives the whole inside of his arm ....I though it would set out an awful scar..it truly looked extremely bad... I talked to a women at our local drug store and she have sugested these and to use neosporen with it...it worked wonders..I be really amazed at how well his arm looked after lately a few days..and he didn't end up near any scarring at all..also ,the cool touch of the gel seem to help out with the aching.
these burn pads will maintain the burn from drying out and allow the new skin underneath more time to adjust ..so, it will not form a scab which can head to scarring...
