Many factors can contribute to eyes getting worse. Nearsightness (when you can't see far) get progressively worse as the years go by. Age is another factor. The elder you get, the harder it is to see upclose (called presbyopia). As an Optician, I other recommend wearing sunglasses (make sure they offer 100% UV protection) and I also recommend UV on regular eyewear. For the computer monitor, you may want to adjust the brightness or if don't wear Rx eyeglasses, try to acquire a UV screen for it. As other, please consult with your Optometrist to bring in sure there is no other point why your eyes are getting worse.
