Hi,Well i never actually did the heimlich maneuver but i did cpr and i believe explicitly breifly the same entity,
I did it on my son, When he was simply 3 weeks old, He be born a month early and the doctors diagianosed him next to sleep apnea. He was hooked up to a device and at 5am the machine go off and he be blue...
They told me in the hospital that if i ever have to do it, it would come naturatly and i would be fine. And needless to speak that is exactly what happend, I did what i have to do, with no problem at adjectives, and then after the ambulance come i freaked out, partly lead to i couldnt believe i did that, But also because i was startled to death...
Well He be russhed to a major hospital and be there for 2 weeks and they found out after several test that he didnt have sleep apnea after adjectives, he had sour reflux, and instead of spitting up a little, he be chocking on it..
Really scarry time but he is now going to be 4 years outdated in 2 months and doing fine...

i did it on myself @ work @ A HOSPITAL, shoving myself over a stool & table while choking on pizza while my Medical co-workers patted me on the subsidise, & the ICU RNs came by & said "okay he's moving air" (i was howling similar to a dog)!!! thank gawd i saved myself! i be livid!!!

Nope, but I did learn that if the casualty is choking while unconcious, a cycle of 30 chest compressions would suffice, newly like CPRYes-to my 7 yo son who choked on a taco--also have it done to me twice.
