Is it better to leave a wound untouched, or to put tablets on it?

I scraped my leg pretty bad. the top lode of skin is like gone (its give or take a few 3 inches in diameter) but its not as bad as it sounds. it bled at first, but i swiped it next to alcohol right after, and that night i splashed hydrogen peroxide on it, next applied mecurocrone stuff on it, bandaged it up, and went to sleep. the subsequent day i took sour the bandage, and the entire hours of daylight i let the sickly ooze congregate on my leg and start to form a scab. so now its afternoon 3 since the incident, and im wondering if i should continue to make tracks it alone and let the atmosphere, taking vitamines, time, and my body to heal it - or to put some triple antibiotic cream and more peroxide and stuff on it. which will sustain it heal faster? i hold a basketball game on tuesday, do you muse it would be okay to play on it, eventhou it wont be fully healed? do you own nay suggestions about how i could assist it heal faster? what aboput taking showers? try to not bring back it wet? is it okay to win shampoo on it? thanks 4 your time.
Answer:

Blood clot or overthinking?

Well its upright that you cleaned up the wound, as this would minimise the risk of an infection.
As for the application of antibiotic cream, i think that it is not really needed, and that by keep hold of the wound clean, and rather dry, it would heal eventually. The cream should be applied if the wound shows signs of infection, and if this is the shield, you should seek medical relief.
Playing basketball might cause the scab to break, and basis the wound to open up. If you really must play, after its best you place a secure dressing over the wound, and loose change this dressing during the time-outs/substitutions/breaks in the game so that the wound would be kept as dry as possible.
Good luck.=D
