I heard a loud pop followed by niggle in my knees. How important is it to want medical attention?
A few weeks ago, I experienced pain within my knee. I sometimes sleep on my stomach near my right leg bent up and to the side. While I was sleeping, I straightened my leg out and now heard a loud pop followed by excruciated spasm. The pain within my knee is as a rule on the inside. I've noticed that I cannot bend my knees past a forty-five scope angle without dull pain. I've been told it may be my meniscus. Is this true and how historic is it to seek medical treatment? I can get something done my day to daylight activities usually short too much pain. Thank you.

Knees are complicated and tricky, but most importantly, as you age, they wear down. So if you are already have pain in a minute what will you be like when you are elder? Personally I would not live with stomach-ache in my knees. I just have my 13th knee surgery on Friday and I am with the sole purpose 25 years old. Trust me, you don't want to turn out approaching me. I would definitely see an orthopedic doctor and own xrays and an mri scan. Exercise your leg and keep it strong because strong legs are the push button to maintaining wholesome knees. I would tackle this problem formerly it gets any worse. It could be your meniscus or a ligament rip or pull (there are 4 surrounded by the knee) or a cartilage or bone problem. It is possible that surgery might be needed, but since you are able to do your on a daily basis activities next to only rather pain it is possible that purely some physical therapy would back.

It all depends on what you're doing at home to treat it and whether it's getting any better on its own. Try icing it every hours of daylight with elevation. I play comparatively a bit of basketball, and my prescribed method of icing knees is to place an ice pouch over the affected nouns (where you feel pain), afterwards wrap the bag onto the nouns with an ace bandage--not too tight, as you don't want to cut bad circulation. as the ice melt and forms around your knee, release some nouns from inside the bag. Do this for around 30 or so minutes. You should also consider getting a neoprene knee wrap at a local pharmacy. This will attach compression and keep your knees from swelling too badly. Most importantly, though, you obligation to rest it. You said you can perform you afternoon to day comings and goings with little distress, and that's very right. Generally try to keep past its sell-by date it as much as you can though. It may take some restraint, but you'll be thankful contained by the long run. Yes it is very far-reaching. Please dont let it capture bad. If it get worse it will require surgery if you let it budge to long. It is much better to be safe than sorry. Trust me I have the same sympathetic of injury in the shoulder and let it dance and had surgery 3 months then
