Does anyone know how to remove a sliver that is lower than my fingernail?
I got a piece of fir wood underneath my nail, it is diagonally below the nail, and I can't conquer the end of it beside tweezers, to pull it out.
Answer: this is going to hurt but not as doomed to failure as if you leave the splinter to obtain infected. Take a pair of clippers and cut you fastener as short as you can so you can get closer to the splinter. Then using a sterile hypodermic try to prod the sliver out. If you can't get it out after you own cut the nail thieve an egg yolk and mix it with adequate salt to form a paste glop it on the finger and cover near a bandage this poltice beside help draw the sliver out over the subsequent day or so. Check it each day and wash beside soap and water and see if you can arrive at it with tweezers even so if not put in more egg goo (left over egg goo can be refridgerated for about a week if cover or wrapped tightly) and rebandage. Or you can move about to the doctor or ER and have the finger numbed and the splinter dug out
I focus I have sprained my ankle but at hand is no swelling or bruising, but it hurts like hell!?
Try Smile's Prid Homeopathic Salve and a bandaid. It's a drawing ointment and may take a few days. I've have very worthy luck with that.
