Only occur after clipping my fingernails. My index finger is really really soar. I thought it be a sharp edge cause by the clipper, so I tried to re-clip it and made the nail even shorter.. But immediately it hurts EVEN MORE!!! I can hardly type. Any philosophy?

the best solution it to put neosporin and a bandade on it.
mine hurt so bad that i put a rubber company around it for a while (but dont do that for very long or it can lay waste to your finger. But sometimes i think its neccessary...because it brand it sop hurting fast!

You cut it too short. Probably to the 'quick', the underside of the nail and cog that the nail protects. Pressure on the sudden, such as typing, will cause strain. Just have to skulk til the nail grows a bit more. Next time if some behaviour caused a problem, maybe you shouldnt try to solve it by doing more of the same act.
