There is nought that the doctor can do. Even if it is broken there is nil the doctor can do. Make sure you clean it beside iodine or something compatible. Hold ice on it and put it surrounded by a band-aid on it, also leave the fastener there as long as you can unless its devastatingly hanging in attendance. I would definitely budge to the doctor for this--if the nail is coming bad there is risk of infection. Being purple is part of a set of the bruising I'm guessing but the bleeding is also a concern. Maybe tell your mom you are really worried nearly it and want to see the doctor. I know she's grossed out but you are her daughter and she needs to relief you. Good luck and I hope you feel better!!
