Do i really have need of to see a doctor?
I sprained my ankle badly two weeks ago and still can't put your foot or bear any legitimate weight on it. It's still really bruised and the swelling go up and down. The past couple days it's be hurting a lot more and the muscle spasms hurt. I don't know if this routine anything, but I've sprained it twice before within the same nouns on the same ankle. Also, more or less a week and a half into the injury i lost my set off and fell on my ankle again trying to balance myself. Do I really call for to see an ortho. Consequently how much does it cost on avg. to see one?
Answer: Actually a podiatrist is more qualified since all of their training is in foot and ankle injuries. If your concerned about cost do NOT dance to an ER or Urgent Care center.

Two weeks is a long time for an ankle to still be hurting. Most of the time I sprain mine it feels better surrounded by a couple days. I'd go see somebody.All you stipulation to do is to determine if it is or is not broken. A simple 2 view x-ray of the ankle will do this. Simply bid your doctor and let them know you want the x-rays perform and a simple exam. This will get right to the point and serve keep the costs down. You really stipulation to see if it is a sprain or a break.

Maybe the first few times you hurt your ankle, it cause hairline fractures and this last time be the big one. I think you should see a doctor when any genus of pain persist for days. The descriptions you gave indicate you should hold seen a doctor practically alike day otherwise you risk walking goofy in latter age when all the stress and strain put on the body finally catch up. Go procure an x-ray as soon as possible. You may have fractured or displaced your ankle.Please don't totter on it anymore or try to put pressure on it. Use a lot of rime on it as well.

Yes you do obligation to see a doctor. becuase if you don't the pain surrounded by your ankle will only carry worse. If I were you I'd walk to Urgent care. (Cheaper than the Emergency Room) consequently I'd find out how long you'd need until the ankle is heal. Then you should fill out papers from work and if you own enought PTO then I suggest you use those PTO. Because you obligation to heal that ankle.

The only entity they will do is tell you to not bearing on it or if it is fractured, the'll put a sprain on it. your ankle can be sprained for a long time and still hurt.have tried to apply heat up or cold to it it get the swelling down?

Did you enjoy the x ray after the first or second stumble? If you didn't go for the x stream after the second fall I would definately dance back to the doc.
