Acetomenaphen day after day for a few months?
I am taking 2000 mg of acetomenaphen daily for back pain (very tolerant), as ably as drinking 2 coronas. If this continues for four-five months until I get enough money to go to the chiropractor regularly will I suffer subsequently in life from liver damage done in a minute?
Should I be worried? I drink a lot of water.
Answers: The maximum daily dose of Tylenol is 4000mg. So, even though you are below that stricture, you are drinking daily. Both Tylenol and Alcohol are very hard on the liver. That said, you should at lowest possible give your MD a call and discuss other options. You could speak to him/her about taking Aleve or Advil or a prescription NSAID. With the daily drinking, it really does limit what you can pinch.
I hope this helps. Good luck to you!

Here it states that using tylenol in dosages up to 2600 mg for a couple years does not have an adverse effect, and it say that alcohol may conflict with the medication if you consume 3 or more drinks. The main problem is that acetaminophen takes a toll on your liver, and when you overdose on it you can enjoy liver failure which may even result in a destroyed liver. However for this they are talking roughly speaking levels of around 6000 mg per day. However the effect can also be cumulative in lower doses.
So essentially, you're okay if you don't up your dosage for an extended period of time. Source(s): http://www.rxlist.com/tylenol-drug.htm

I would switch to ibuprophine (Advil) it doesn't have the same unsafe effects on the liver (and to me works better). The damaging effects on your body depend on a lot of things, like your metabolisim and your counterweight. Personally, I wouldn't risk it. Source(s): Medical professionals in my immediate family
