I have indistinguishable problem. My Dr. recomended a few solutions.1) If you are a smoker.. Do not smoke a least one hour before bed.
2) Do not drink or put away anything before bed.
3) Try to cut out TV before bed and do a short time light reading.
4) Try a warm QUIET tub to relax yourself.
5) Keep your room quiet and dark. A little boom in the form of a fan is okay, it can in fact help you sleep by giving you a low constant focal point instead of having your mind wondering.

Cut down on your caffeine consumption, especially during the afternoon or evening. This includes tea, coffee and soft drinks like coke.Give up smoking, or don't smoke inwardly a few hours of going to bed.
Keep a pen and some paper next to your bed - if you sprawl in bed worrying, write everything down and tell yourself you'll business with it in the morning.
Get plenty of exercise - this works by making you physically worn out. Avoid exercising though inwardly 2 hours of going to bed, because you'll be hyped up.
Make sure your bedroom is dark and quiet.
Do restful things right formerly bed.

i try to relax before going to bed and avoid any citrus or caffenine drinks roughly three hrs before hand. i also try to I don`t know read but it doesnt happen often. i do lay near and relax and drink tea, hot or cold, but its called sleepy time its soo good and it help me all the time. also, chamomille tea is pretty good to comfort you sleep. good luck and i hope it helpsI know it's an dated wives tale but works for my husband a cup of warm milk. I sometimes use lavender spray on my pillow and if i really can'r sleep close to now I get on procession till I get tired, Good luck it's no fun to be sleepless!

dont go to bed until you are tired and bring back up the same time every morning (which means dont sleep within!)also dont take naps during the afternoon. Thats the best advice i can give you. Anything else wont work within the long run
