Any doctors? what can i do? I fractured my knees and i own a knees brace on, and i dont know what i can do?
I fractured my knee, and I have an immobolizer on, and I enjoy to keep it on cause if my knees cap moves apart they will have to do surgery on it. and im worried something like hurting it or something. anyone been in my position up to that time or are there any doctors out there? what can I do?

If the knees is kept immobilized, the patella (kneecap) should grow back together. But the pieces enjoy to be kept in actual contact. If you take the immobilizer past its sell-by date and allow the quadriceps or thigh muscle to pull it apart, then nearby will be a permanent non-union. The only choice next will be to go in and surgically staple the two pieces together. And next there is the possibility that the bone will never grow back together and so you will enjoy a permanently weak kneecap that can break apart at any time.Wear your immobilizer! Give yourself the best kismet to heal naturally. If you own to go to surgery, that just way that many more weeks or months of immobilization, pain, and rehab afterwards.
Do what the doctors are suggesting. I have a total knee replacement at 39 (after spending an unnecessary 7 months on cruthes). They HATE to give knees replacements to someone that young but in my overnight case, I had no choice. If your doctor thinks it will certainly HEAL, and you have faith within him or her, then take their guidance. If NOT, get a second oinion immediately. U want to leave the immobolizer on at adjectives times(unless otherwise told)...The best thing that u can do is find things that u can doing while sitting with ur leg elevated

also dont try to saunter on ur leg.. when up and about keep adjectives wieght off r knee(again unless u are allowed to place weight through that leg)
