Anyone know going on for ovary cysts?
Last Tuesday i started getting painful ovulation pains (mainly in my moved out side just like finishing month which is odd cos i'm on the pill) but 2 days later when i woke up the spasm had travelled higher up and kill! My mum didn't want me to go to the doctors she said to wait *rolls eyes* after 2 days that died down, and the backache spreaded every where really, higher and lower, into my lower hindmost etc, it wasn't as painful it was a moment ago quite achy and i was a bit bloated. Since after the pain has be off and on really, get erratic pains all round my abdominal area, it's not servere a moment ago achy and now i've got ovulation type discomfort again, thats hurting me. My friend said this sounds like an ovary cyst that might had ruptured and the fluid have gone into my abdominal area and wherever it be at the time it would cause pain. I be worried cos i thought i might have cancer or something but i'm only 18 and ovary cysts are more adjectives apparently. I've always suffered from strong ovulation pain though.
Answer: I HAVE have an ovarian cyst before and it wasn't THAT bad similar to you describe. I had pain within the area of my right ovary that became more severe when I have a full bladder or walked for a period of time. It be painful,but tolerable if that makes any sense. Mine be 5cm too. I was given the option of starting BC pills to moderate the size of my cyst, but since my husband and I are trying to concieve, I chose not too.
My suggestion is this.. Maybe you are being "whiny" about everyday period pain as it seem your mother seems to think..BUT, What if it is something more serious and you don't rob care of it... Then what? You may lose your ability to reproduce subsequently in life. You are singular 18! That would suck to find out when you are 25 or 30 when you decide to become a mother that you can't because this wasn't taken care of within time.
Look, I don't want to scare you. It might very in good health be nothing at all, but until you step to the doctor you really don't know. Best case senario..It is nothing. Worst suitcase senario, It could be something that will affect your ability to have children or even put to death you(less probable but still possible) So even if the pain goes away I would check it out.
Also, Does endometriosis run within your family? There is so much it could be..It's really hard to say aloud. Go in, get it checked out.

It could be ovarian cyst. Just back ovulation they swell. And cause a great deal of strain. Usually accompanying that, is heavy bleeding while menstruating. If they do burst, like an infection, you will run a frenzy, have pain, and a nonspecific feeling of sickness. You need an ultrasound, and that money you need to see a doctor.GO TO THE DOCTOR.I had ovary cysts. If it isnt cyst it could be appendicitist if to be precise how u spell it. I was put in the hospital for that. your mom shouldnt enlighten u to wait. they can do ct scan or mmr and they can tell you if they ruptured u would quality it and that may be why they are painful. if u do they will do surgery...no big...it is a very minor surgery. dont verbs. mine were gone after i had my child. but go to the doc cuz u never no what could be wrong better safe than sorry.
