Anywhere online have physical psychotherapy exercise video?
broke my leg about 1 1/2 yrs. ago, delayed union spiral tib/fib fracture, within other words twisted my shin and ankle bone till it snapped and isn't healing all the passageway, taking forever. i had no insurance, so no surgery, no physical therapy. be walking on it for about 6 months now lacking the boot. is there anywhere online that shows how to do physical therapy exercises for strengthening. i cant run, step, jog only pace and not very far, i know i need some strengthening exercises and my dr. is a money hungry *** who won't backing me. thanks in credit!
Answer: Wow- tough injury. Unfortunately, most people vear away from those types of videos because in that are so many legal implication when you use the word therapy. But here are a few things to consider:
1) Swimming: Since it is a great workout and reduces the impact dramatically, it may be a god dispatch for you. Also, many people near injuries like yours, do water walking. Yep, simply walking all along the pool. Its a great re-hab exercise.
2) Seated Pilates exercises: This won't help your ankle, but it will certainly aid you with strengthening and toning your abs, back, but and thighs. I would avoid the standing pilates work for in a minute since it required a lot of balancing (which will probably over-tax your ankle)
