Are my clicking thumbs going to affect my form?
I'm 24, and one of those very 'clicky' people... but by far, the worst are my thumbs. At smallest once a day, I'll have to click my thumbs (at the first cohesive from the nail down) and while it doesn't hurt, I'm concerned about my thumbs subsequent in life...
I try not to crack my knuckles etc, but if I don't click my thumbs, they stiffen up and I can't move them properly... (think of straws beside the articulated bends in them, sometimes can't bend until I click them).
Is there something I can do? Food I can chomp through to avoid suffering later in duration?
Answer: Don't worry about it, I click my thumbs too. So far zilch bad has happen. And besides, that clicking sound is just nitrogen bubbles surrounded by your joints popping, I think. It's really comparatively harmless. However, don't start cracking your knuckles, because I heard your knuckles can bring larger over time if you do that..
i'm not sure what you can do to prevent it but i no that if you keep doing it you could end up near arthritis when your older ask your Doctor, sorry i'm not much help :$
