Are NHS chiefs and..?
higher management specially trained to s**t on nurses and healthcare worker's, from a great hieght. Or does it come readily as they become detatched from what actually goes on at ground height ( thats if they actually have any nursing expertise at all, which many don't).

Most NHS chiefs are from non nursing post and within my 20 years in nursing from a senior level Ive see some almighty useless managers. Yet I cant understand to this afternoon as if these wasters had near own business or worked for a corporation then they or them would be bust yet if your honourable at nothing other than wearing cheap suits, Trying to look considerable and carrying a briefcase full of today's mess up Ive caused then that explains it.
But alot of NHS chiefs are from nursing setting and only a small percent do a good job-most are messed up nurses who don't want to get there hand dirty and love the attention of their peers and self importance and of course the-being within charge attitude and stigma with there robustness management degree and so call meetings about over spending.
You're completely right. I think the problem is that the managers within hospitals nowadays are managers not robustness care workers & have no appreciation of what it's similar to to work on the wards.
What concerned of commandeering could this be?
no i think its adjectives natural my mum worked fot the nhs overworked and underpaid and she was bad with cancer no one out of supervision bothered to see how she was doind only rung to ask if she be getting another sick noteNeed assistance getting over a headache?
I couldnt agree more..and NO I truly belive that they do NOT have any Nursing ease (background) at all..to them its just a livelihood to forget about when they get home!!Will the fleece cell within your inner ear evntually restore to health if they become tatty?
The problem is that they earnestly walk to the beat of a different drum.Nurses and care-workers of course don’t become nurse and care- workers for the money! It’s because they care!
NHS chiefs and senior NHS senior managers cart up these positions because they see themselves as ‘good managers’ or they have been promoted inside the NHS organisation beyond their core competency e.g. a doctor becomes an administrator.
When they become senior managers (and some of them wouldn’t know which agency is ‘up’ on a bed-pan) they are given targets by other people difficult in the hierarchy than they are ultimately the Minister of Health.
As the Minister of Health is a politician he doesn’t really protection about which way is up on a bed-pan he/she is more concerned going on for the left and right wings of politics and getting re-elected.
This mortal the case the Minister of Health makes decision for political reasons – this then get passed to the next layer of command and so on and so on. At each level of nouns that manager puts his/her own perception of the best way to respectively that end.
For instance:
Chancellor of the Exchequer decides that for political reason more money has to be spent on the roads (or maybe even the Olympics contained by 2012). The money has to be paid put of taxes – here is a finite amount of tax collected and he can’t for political reasons bump up let’s say income tax. So smaller amount money will be allocated to the Health Service.
The Minister of Health announces that after many years of investment in the NHS at hand will be a ‘Strategic Review’ of NHS with an aim of reducing costs by 10%.
This gets passed on to NHS trusts as ‘reduce costs by 10% surrounded by the current year’.
NHS administrator decides to delay the building of a tentative hospital wing.
As a result of this the old wing is still used and there an outbreak of MRSA.
NHS administrator blames absence of funds on Government.
And so on and so on. Round and round it goes.
New initiative – let’s bring hospital cleaning back contained by house – we didn’t have as much infection in the ward when it was in house (maybe that be because the cleaners actually did it better because they cared).
We will need a undamaged new level of direction to implement this vital change to the NHS and further government will be needed to oversee the future cleaning
Because there is no overall strategy that go beyond the life of a government residence we end up in this situation and everybody is chasing different target.
