I was told today that i have plantar fasiitis and my doc told me that I needed a really upright pair of athletic shoes for this. My arch is VERY high so I involve something with good arch support. What features do you recomend and where can I get them?

New Balance shoes are particular to have really good arch supports built into them. You can acquire them at most athletic shoe stores but try to find an athletic shoe store with a knowledgable staff (not Footlocker, etc). Usually the independent ones have the best staff.

Strangely satisfactory, I have a lot smaller number problems when I wear boots. I would say wear high tops of tennis shoes. I own had custom made inserts a few times but now I don't use any.
