Does the strange drx9000 spinal decompression unit really work and can nys workers comp be made to discharge ?
wife has degenerative disk disease. the merely options she currently have are high doses of prescription stomach-ache killers.it is an ongoing encounter for about 7 years presently. it seems that because its nys workers compensation from a work related (origional) injury adjectives nuerosurgons that we have see are unwilling to do anything. Is it because it's comp? recently saw an attach for spinal decompression with the drx 9000. wonder if it's worth a shot.Probably nys comp board won't approve. they are a dull pain in the (you know what).and are the lowest cooperative when it comes to any thing much beyond allowing alot of drugs.Makes me ponder that they are getting kickbacks for it.Any one know the true scoop on any of this please respond.Much appreciated.francis v

How do I know if a cut is serious adequate to get stitches?
The work comp board would most possible not approve that treatment as it is not a widely accepted method of treatment. I've read surrounded by a couple different places that the drx9000 will help while you are unloading the treatment, however, once it's ended, the affliction will return. Plus, it doesn't really cure the problems, it just help with the aching. Has your wife seen a spine specialist all the same? That would be my suggestion. Also is work comp still paying for treatment? Do they have control over the medical treatment (not sure what the law are in your state)? I'd be surprised if the work comp claim is still embark on since as you said it's been 7 years, I would surmise that the claim would have be settled now. If the claim have been settled, the work comp board will enjoy no say on what treatment you pursue. It is true that some doctors will not treat a tolerant if it is work comp, but if they do agree to see your wife, I highly doubt that the certainty that it is work comp will affect the way they treat your wife. Good luck and I hope adjectives goes capably.
