For about 5 monthes immediately, I have be experiencing a lot of backache in my right leg surrounded by my upper thigh. It is constantly numb and tingling and quite recurrently itches, when I itch it though, it is so strange, because I cannot really feel my leg. The numbness is in attendance. Also, another strange thing is that my leg is constantly surrounded by pain within this area! Again, it is completely numb, accompany by severe pain and itching! Even simply to put light pressure on it, a sharp backache just shoots right through it! I am newly curious if anyone has a clue as to what this could be or what may be cause these symptoms?! I have never experienced anything similar to this and it is getting worse each hours of daylight! Thank you for any help you can hand over me!

Does anyone know the disability rating after having a spinal fusion?
Hi... Please step and see a doctor ASAP. Im pretty sure what you are experiencing is sciatica. I have have serious back problems for more or less 11 years and the symptoms you describe are exactly what I had cause by disc herniations (protrusion/bulge) at L3/4, L4/5 and L5/S1. When you have a disc protrusion it presses on the nerves that service your legs which cause the pain, tingling and numbness. Have a look at this site, which will explain further www.spine-health.com/topics/cd...
It is possible if you depart from the problem for too long without haing it checked that the numbness can become long-term, I have lifelong numbness in my right leg between the knees and little toe on the outside.
You should go and see your doctor as soon as you can, they will probably dispatch you for a CT scan or an MRI which will tell what is cause the problem. If it is a disc protrusion, they will most likely refer you to a neurosurgeon or orthopaedic surgeon. The specialist will grant you a range of alternatives to relieve the symptoms, which can include an epidural, seeing a physiotherapist (please don't see a chiroprator, they can breed you worse) or as a last resort surgery to help yourself to out the small part of the disc to be precise pressing on your nerves. Don't panic too much almost surgery as they generally operate on with the sole purpose 10% of cases they see.
I have be there and know exeactly what you are experiencing, so I hope this have been of relieve to you. If you need any more comfort or have any more question, feel free to email me as I am more than contented to assist if I can.
Good luck and get to your doctor as soon as you can.
they are call "doctors".go see one.are family really this dumb?
How does it take hematoma to form after surgery?
you could own a deep artery thrombosis in your leg - which is a blood clot contained by your leg. you need to run to your doctor and tell them your symptoms, or shift to an emergency room. There is a doppler study you can have, it's non-invasive. It's an ultrasound that can detect whether or not here is a blood clot in your leg.In hospitals & medical centre, they ask you to...?
i'm sorry...i can't help you. you should see a doctor. That sharp discomfort sounds like something is going on near the nerves. I've had misery in the courage area around my not here leg (before I knew it be osteoarthritis) that could cause burning and to pain. The burning would be so bleak that I would itch, itch so bad that I have to scratch.
I would recommend conversation to your dr to have this evaluated to see if some effrontery damage might be going on.
The numbness and itching are due to dearth of blood circulation. I think some kindly of abcess / cyst has be formed internally and you have to pop in a doctor immediatly because it would be something serious also and any delay is dangerious.
Can my work sack me over this?
sounds lke you might enjoy a pinched nerve or fruitless circulation, please see your doctorIs this appropriate behavior for a doctor?
Have you had surgery on that leg in the past this began? You indicate serious medical problems in your edit. There is a syndrome called Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy. No one know what causes it, but it cause pain, and muscle and bone change, ususally after an injury or surgery. When one of our patients is suspect for it, we refer them out to a pain command doctor for evaluation and treatment. Another option is to request an NCV to check your nerves for sabotage if you have have an injury. NCV's are less invasive than an EMG (no needles) and rob just a minute in a doctor's department and can diagnos many things including neuropathy, carpal tunnel and stenosis of the spine. I timetabled a few sites below for you to read up on it and see if it matches.I don't have an idea that it sounds like sciatic. Sciatic usually starts along your buttock and wraps around the artificial leg. Good Luck.
I had knees reconstruction surgery and after 9 month I still can't squat or run?
Pain (muscle pressing sturdy on nerve), numbness (just enough pressure to disrupt the side of the road way), tingling (like when a foot that has be asleep is waking up), and itching (like when a cut is healing) can adjectives be attributed to muscles pressing on nerves. For any structural thing wrong approaching these I first see a chiropractor (to make sure specifically not the cause or fix it) and a press therapist (because I cant capture to everything) who understand the principles qualified in the book at the bottom.
Much misery is from muscles below is an example of what may help (based on headaches).
Begin near a couple swigs of molasses or a couple of bananas (natural muscle relaxers) daily - magnesium (which regulates lots things in the body) and potassium (a needed building block for muscles).
Drink at least 1/2 gallons of hose down per day. Running a body low on river is like running a saloon low on oil is the analogy the guide of neurology at UCDavis told my husband about 10 years ago.
Now to the result in - muscles - your back, d¨Ścolletage shoulders and head hold tender spots. They are knots contained by the fibers of the muscles called trigger points. It make the muscles tight which makes them press on nerves and other things cause the pain.
The cure - start next to a professional massage, (if this does not do it you probably want a chiropractor as well) you will also want to go put a bet on over any place you can get to 6-12 times per session up to 6 times per sunshine rubbing (or lightly scratch on your head) every where to be precise tender until the knots budge away. The place where the skull connects to the spine press up lower than the edge of the skull (to obtain to those muscles).
For more information read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies. It teaches what to do and where on earth the pain comes from.
I have found something call Gluosatrin and OPC-3, I am not a doctor but I know these products have help people.
