My doctor is nuts?

i had an mri a couple months ago,and when i go to my doctor to review the results she told me everything looked fine.now after a couple months of twinge, and being kicked around getting no facilitate,i went to carry my mri film so i could budge to another doctor . im not trained to read an mri,but what i saw didnt look good at adjectives.on the side view both the thoractic and lumbar descriptions show a major bulge to be exact causing a huge indent in my spinal rudeness path. the top scenery shows several disks that are bulged out and surrounding the nerves.kind of wrapped around. i spent the afternoon looking at both normal and phenomenal mri images on the web,and mine are far from normal. when compared to the descriptions on the net mine are far from regular. so here i am in moderate to severe spasm and getting no management of the backache. im wondering what type of doctor i should seek? my family circle doctor is surely nuts. any suggestions??

Extreme lower-back/butt pain?

I read your post and it be almost like reading a post written by myself. I touch for you !

I am in indistinguishable boat. I have cervical disc issues and hold central disc herniations C3 - C5 possibly C6. The report said they be not impinging upon the cord but be impinging on the thecal sac. The thecal sac is what surrounds the spinal cord and guts roots it helps to cushion and protect. When you influence your disc is bulging I bet you are looking a something similar.
As to how much impingement there is something you do not mention.. Do you know how immense the bulge is? Regardless it is not normal however Neurologists and Neurosurgeons good opinion disc herniations and bulges as normal unless they are cause cord impairment and neurological symptoms. For some reason you own to be almost paralyzed before they filch notice.

I am within the same position but presently I am having trouble walking and they still will not help out. I am even on disability because of this. I have be to so many doctors but I hold decided to see a spinal surgeon and suggest you do one and the same. These doctors have more training than a neurologist or neurosurgeon. I will also incorporate that when you make an appointment near a specialist make sure they enjoy seen your MRI, X-Ray, CT films and not in recent times your radiologist report.

I am sure I don't have to explain to you that you don't diagnose based on similes but for some reason doctors do.

Good luck. I am sorry I can not submit more advice.

Healing time?

Do you have the actual MRI report? I doubt your family unit doctor read it himself, and to be honest I doubt that you can really interpret it either. MRI reading requests to be done by someone who has looked at abundantly of them, a radiologist and in this suitcase a spinal surgeon (orthopedic or neurosurgeon) or neurologist. Talk with your doctor again around a specialty referral. I would suggest seeing a spinal surgeon.

Back pain is a complex problem. Muscle, connective tissue, bone and nerves can adjectives be sources and generally it is a combination. Chronic stomach-ache is also influence by psychological and social factors, such as personal stressors resembling work and relationships. Often it requires multiple modalities to deal next to it including medication, physical therapy, counseling and surgery.

Cyst In Brain. Need Help!!!!!1?

You stipulation to see a specific surgeon that deals next to spinal cord problems. A neurologist may help you out within this area. He or she may be capable of direct you to someone else if they are not able to help out you.

Dr's today can be quite a affliction in the *** when it comes to issues and problems of their patients. I deem it has seriously to do with insurance companies which constrict the doctors (all doctors) of what they can do or are allowed to do for their patients.

I wish you moral luck and good strength and I hope you are successful in finding the right doctor that will not just diagnose you but treat you as well.

Sleeping problem?

You entail to get the written report from you MRI. It will be by a Radiologist, someone who does that adjectives the time, not your family Dr.

What can i do to seize at least 8 hours of sleep?

Before you consider surgery try working next to the principles taught contained by The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies.
I use a chiropractor and massage shrink with it.
