I a moment ago started byetta, what should i expect while on it?
As with any fractured bone, the two free ends of the fracture will bleed internally. The resulting blood clot and defacement tissue surround the fracture and form what is called a callus. Over time, the body will start lay down calcium in the callus and it will become more solid. Eventually (though it may lug several months for the clavicle) the callus will become solid bone. The body will try to "remodel" the bone as best as it can, but you will likely other have a residual irregularity of the clavicle. The amount of deformity depends on how far apart the free bone ends are.
Clavicular fractures are a to some extent unique type of fracture. There is a banter about clavicular fractures surrounded by medical school that as long as at hand are two free ends somewhere in the body, the clavicle will somehow survive to heal itself!
