Treatment for a bone bruise?
My 2 year old injured his foot while walking down the stairs. The X-Rays indicate that he bruised his bone. The doctor did not provide any treatment guidance and he seems to be surrounded by pain. I've be carrying him everywhere and I gave him tylenol up to that time bed tonight. Any advice would be appreciated.
Answer:
I think these things hold to heal on thier own. You are doing what a polite mom should...It should get better surrounded by a week to 10 days. If not go wager on to the doc.
Whats the best way to fashion a sore neck better! HELP?
Have you spoken to a stroke therapist? They can be highly useful for a great length of problems. I would ask the doctor if he is ok to get massage and if so seek out a trust-worthy press therapist specifically either certified to work on children, have taken CEU's for working with little ones, or someone that have actually worked beside a lot of children. You may even want to hope out what are known as Neuromuscular or somatic therapists- they work wonders. If you can't afford costly treatments you can wish out a therapist that will school you how if you pay for one session. Most therapist are generous and beneficial so they are not likely to hold a problem with this.
Again check near you doctor first. Usually if nothing is broken and at hand is no swelling or signs of clots or other abnormalities they will clear him for a some type of work.
treat the strain, ice, elevate, and give the name the doctor for advice.
