I work at a hospital in the forgiving transport dept. I would love to wow the pts with something exciting?
I want the patients to be comforable and pleased beside the transporters escorting them to their appointments in the hospital. When the patients are being escorted to their appointments or discharged, I would love for the patients to read aloud "the patient transportation department is great. I don't really want to spend any money but if I enjoy too, I would like for it to be not costly. I would love for the patients to contiune to choose that hospital and deduce highly of the transporters and the department. Please aid. Thanks

Depending on what type of patients you get, singing, yes i know, but its worked, expecially beside the elderely patients, get a bit player, and one by one they will join within, it will past the time, past there appointment. Try it!!!!!!!
I doubt greatly that people who are ailing want to be wowed by much of anything other than getting economically.
Just be polite and get the personality where they want to go.

A warm smile, a great attitude, and debonair appearance. Don't ever let them know you are ahving a bed afternoon, make them the number 1 priority at that time. A type word, a small joke--it's the little things that get notice. Think about what you would want surrounded by a hospital transport, and apply.maybe a magic trick? or a jape, everyone likes joke
Exciting is not what your patients want or need. They obligation to feel that they will not solely get to where on earth they need to shift, but that they'll get within in one piece, that what they want at hand won't be forgotten, and that the human being assisting them cares for their comfort and safekeeping.
For a patient, anything that will provide comfort and effortlessness of stress in a constricted and/or painful situation is a blessing. Don't wish to be remembered, so much as to be one of the parts of the patients' experience that won't need to be remembered next to anxiety.
You don't enjoy to spend a dime. A big smile, friendly converstaion, careful transfer, a concern for their welfare if you have to be off them while you go attain someone else, checking back beside them if you see them in the corridor, remembering their names...adjectives of these things bring you personally to them, and variety you and their hospital stay memorable.!
