I have have 4 back surgeries and a fusion.I own tried every thing and anything for posterior pain. I hold been on Darvon, Darvocet, Tylenol#3, Vicodin, Lortab, oral Demerol and IM Demerol. I am on oral Morhpine at this time along near the enternal pain pump beside morphine in it. What other types of pain meds have been used contained by the pumps? I was placed on Morphine, Fentanyl and a rudeness block. I then started out have some kind of response I think from the courage block med. I have taken the other two meds formerly. I had a paroxysm and was surrounded by a coma for 5 days before I woke up. The doctors have told my husband they were not sure I be even going to pull through or not? After a character has be on a certain strain med for so long their body gets used to it consequently you have to correction meds . What medication is anyone on and the dosage. At one time I was on 22 mg of morphine a time in my pump along next to the oral Morphine 60 mg every 4 hrs. I worry what I will bear when the morphine doesn't work any more??Thanks

WOAH!! I have have foot surgery due to bunions, then i be in 3 wrecks be i was flipside ended which slowly made my vertebrae awful, i now hold severe scoliosis and have have my lumber fused...i also had to own minor knee surgery to repair torn ligaments and meniscus so that i could own a total hip replacement ( hip is great) but i have a bulging disc and DDD along beside stenosis so i know u know what all explicitly. I take Lortab 10/500, Soma, Xanex, Ambein CR 12.5 to sleep and i am on the Fentynal patch 100mcg...they enjoy asked me if i wanted to pump but i do not. I hold heard that they can put Demerol surrounded by the pump instead of Morphine...i think Demerol works better and it last longer than Morphine so maybe u could ask your doc roughly speaking that?? Demerol can be used, and I've heard of Prilat toxin being used contained by them before (which is a type of snail toxin, but is really used because of it's toxicity) but I know that I have a friend who uses it (she have RSD/CRPS in her entire body), and it have helped her be capable of wear pants again (RSD/CRPS is so raw for some of us that we can't handle wearing pants) which is a huge milestone.
